massive cloud of interstellar gas is approaching the supermassive central black hole of our Galaxy, the Milky Way, known as Sagittarius A (Sgr A), with a good chance that part of it will fall directly into the singularity. The central black hole has a mass of 4 million solar masses, while the gas cloud itself is about four times the mass of the Earth.
