North Korea launched a long-range missile toward the island of Okinawa in the South China Sea. The missile was launched from the Dongchang-ri base, on the explicit order of “Supreme Commander Kim Jong-un.” However, the Seoul government immediately expressed serious doubts about its success: the rocket, in particular, traveled a trajectory of several hundred kilometers, exploding southwest of the South Korean island of Jeju. In short, it was a “failure.”
