Battle of Quebec City, Canada. Very early morning. Montgomery forces his way through a palisade and runs with several men into the city perimeter. A cannonade instantly kills him and a dozen other soldiers. The first of the two American attacking wings on the city is decapitated. But Arnold, leading the other, is unaware of this and orders a frontal attack. He himself is hit in the leg, and a retreat is ordered.
