Boston. The perpetrators of the terrorist attack have been identified: two brothers of Chechen origin who have been living in the United States for several years. The younger brother, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, is an American citizen and studies at a prestigious university where he is also an active athlete. The older brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 27, recently dropped out of school to devote himself to boxing. At 10:00 PM local time, after a shoplifting, they kill a private security guard at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts. They stop an SUV and kidnap the driver, who is then released after half an hour. Meanwhile, hundreds of police officers arrive. Tamerlan gets out of the car with an explosive in his backpack and is riddled with bullets. He dies in the hospital. Dzhokhar drives over his brother’s body in the SUV and manages to break through the checkpoint and escape.
