Copernicus finishes “De revolutionibus Orbium Coelestium” but, due to his perfectionism and fear of ecclesiastical condemnation, being himself a priest, he postpones the publication from year to year until 1543 when, with Copernicus paralyzed on the right side and dying, the “De Revolutionibus” is published filtered and revised by a Lutheran theologian.
