A young rooster in Fruita, Colorado, is decapitated, but incredibly, the axe misses the jugular vein, leaving enough brain tissue attached to allow the bird to survive another two years. The rooster will become a tourist attraction: Mike the Headless Wonder Chicken. He is fed by his owner, Lloyd Olsen, via an eyedropper.
