In Somalia, a 13-year-old girl, Aisha Ibrahim Duhulow, was stoned to death in a stadium with 1,000 spectators in Kismayo. She was accused of adultery, but she claimed to have been raped by three men. Kismayo had returned to the control of Islamic militias a few months ago.
