Apollo 12, shortly after the lunar landing: Pete Conrad looks at the laminated pages of his handbook on his left arm. And he starts laughing. On every odd-numbered page is a picture of Play Boy bunnies, unknowingly attached by the backup crew, responsible for preparing his equipment. Under Miss 1968, it says: “Seen any hills and valleys?” Pete Conrad exclaims, “Holy shit! Hey Al, you want to flip over to procedure seven? I might need your help on this!” They waste 10 minutes of EVA time leafing through the handbook looking for the other Play Boy photos.
