Duchy of Modena and Reggio. Duke Francis V inaugurates the railway. He had signed the railway agreement in Rome in 1951 to run the railway between Modena and Reggio Emilia. He had it run close to his home: between the Ducal Palace and the Villa Ducale Pentetorri, with the train station right in between.
