Battle of Chancellorsville, Virginia, 15 km west of Fredricksburg. While returning from a patrol, several members of the Confederate general staff were mistakenly killed by their comrades, and General Stonewall Jackson was also hit by friendly fire. His left arm was shattered and would later be amputated, and he also suffered wounds to his hands.
