Holland. British and American Avro Lancasters and B-17s dropped sacks of Swedish white bread flour, crates of chocolate, margarine, canned meat, powdered eggs, cigarettes, coffee, and chewing gum. The Dutch were exhausted by the German blockade of supplies and the flooding of their camps as a form of Nazi retaliation.
