The Venetian island of Tinos, Greece, is attacked by the Ottomans, after capturing Chios from the Genoese. After a ten-day siege and burning everything they could, the enraged Turks abandon the island with nothing. In retaliation for the damage suffered, the Venetians hang several captured Janissaries outside the walls.
