Milan. After two days of revolt, the picture is clear: in the heart of Milan, the insurgents have the upper hand. There are more than 1,700 barricades. In front of the castle, an imposing barricade is erected with granite slabs linked with iron chains and filled with earth. It is so solid that by the end of the fighting, 72 cannonballs will be found embedded in it! Another barricade is being prepared with the scenery from La Scala.
