Los Alamos scientists gather in an impromptu evening meeting to discuss the political aspects of the Manhattan Project. At the last minute, the project leader, Robert Oppenheimer, shows up. Fermi and Feynman also attend. Oppenheimer says that research on the bomb should continue and lead to a test.
