Battle of the Field of Blackbirds in Kosovo (Kosovo Polje), in which the Christian Serbs led by the Prince of Serbia are defeated by the Ottoman Osmalis led by Murad and his Christian vassals, as part of the Ottoman advance that will lead to the siege of Vienna and the fall of Constantinople. Prince Lazar is captured and executed, while Murad dies under mysterious circumstances and his son Bayazid I ascends the throne.
