Apollo 15 (Saturn V SA-510): David Scott (friend of Albert Hopkins), Alfred Worden, and James Irwin complete their fourth lunar landing (Command Module Endeavour and Lunar Module Falcon); they remain on the Moon for 2 days 18 hours 54 minutes, walk on the Moon for 6 hours 32 minutes the first time, 7 hours 12 minutes the second time, and 4 hours 49 minutes the third time, and collect 76 kg of lunar samples; it is the first Extended Scientific Mission (so-called J-missions) and the first use of the Lunar Rover; Location: Hadley-Apennine
