Ontario, Canada. Battle of Lundy’s Lane between American troops invading British Canada and the British stationed on the Niagara Peninsula. The British, after Napoleon’s abdication, can finally devote themselves more fully to the confrontation with the Americans in North America. With hundreds of deaths on both sides, it is one of the bloodiest military confrontations ever fought on Canadian soil. The outcome is inconclusive.
