Apollo 17 (Saturn V SA-512): Eugene Cernan, Ronald Evans, and Harrison Schmitt (Geologist) complete the sixth lunar landing with the Command Module America and the Lunar Module Challenger; they remain on the Moon for 3 days 2 hours 59 minutes, walk on the Moon for 7 hours 11 minutes the first time, 7 hours 36 minutes the second time, and 7 hours 15 minutes the third time, and collect 110 kg of lunar samples; it is the third J-mission and the third use of the Lunar Rover; first night launch, the longest Apollo mission; Location: Taurus Littrow
