The U.S. Air Force carried out several targeted airstrikes against Iranian-backed militia positions following a missile attack on coalition bases in the region that wounded three U.S. soldiers. The military carried out the strikes with AC-140 gunships, Apache attack helicopters, and M777 howitzers.
