Florence. Pazzi Conspiracy. Giuliano de Medici is assassinated in the church (Santa Maria del Fiore), during Easter Mass, by a conspiracy hatched by the noble Florentine Pazzi family, supported by Pope Sixtus IV and Ferdinand I, King of Naples. Lorenzo de Medici is only wounded and flees to the sacristy, where he shows himself, bleeding, to the crowd, thus failing the conspiracy. The revenge against the Pazzi family will be terrible and will be carried out street by street.
