The Hughes Glomar Explorer, a covert CIA vessel, sets sail from Delaware Bay. It is headed to fish for the wreck of the Soviet K-129. The design and construction of the vessel, a technical marvel (a feat considered impossible by the Soviets), was directed by John Graham of Global Marine.
