Germany. Tanks of the US 3rd Division enter Nordhausen, speed through it, and head toward Barby, on the Elbe. At the head of the column is a colonel who sees hundreds of civilians on the side of the road shouting and waving. He orders the column to stop. One of them, who speaks no English, grabs him by the jacket and leads him to a reinforced concrete entrance: the V-2 assembly line. Around a hundred missiles, assembled or in pieces, will be rushed to the USA.
