Du Han writes the Jingxingji (travel diary) in which he describes a land, Molin, whose inhabitants are black, where there is no rice, grains, grass, or trees, horses are fed dried fish, and in the interior, diarrhea is treated with incisions in the skull. He is likely referring to Eritrea and Sudan.
