Israel. At the height of the Jewish revolt, Nero entrusted the Roman army to Titus Flavius Vespasianus, assisted by his son Titus. Vespasian managed to enter Jotapata and take over its defense. After the city was taken, Josephus was taken prisoner; the historian prophesied to Vespasian that he would become emperor.
