In the final years of the golden age of the Gupta dynasty in India (a center of art, science, literature, and architecture), Aryabhata estimated the year to be within two hours, the diameter of the Earth (13,382 km), and the area of the triangle (pi = 3.1416). India was reached by the hordes of Huns. The Gupta culture is the heir of the Harappan culture (2500 BC).
