Asteroid 163693 Atira, approximately 4.8 km in size, is discovered in the asteroid belt. It also has a moon. Atira is a NEO (Near-Earth Object) that will give its name to an entire class of NEOs: the Atira or Aphoele asteroids, whose entire orbits lie within Earth’s orbit. The other classes of NEO asteroids are the Amor, Apollo, and Aten.
