Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar completes a modern exposition of Newton’s Principia Mathematica in his “Newton’s Principia for the General Reader” (though what he means by “general reader” is certainly not what the general reader means…). Euler had done a first complete work in 1735 in “Mechanics.”
