A formula for calculating the complete list of prime numbers is written out in full for the first time. It contains 26 variables (that is, it must use all 26 letters of the English alphabet). Random values are inserted into the variables and the result is examined: if it is positive, then it is a prime number; otherwise, it is discarded. But this formula tells us nothing specific about the nature of prime numbers.
