Rome. Bozzini and Mosconi patented creso wheat, produced in “gamma fields” with radioactive cesium, which randomly alters the genetics of the wheat arranged in a radial pattern around the sample. The most promising specimens are then selected. The experiments are conducted by Barilla in collaboration with ENEA.
