NASA’s Surveyor mission program: 5 successes and 2 failures. Special mention goes to Surveyor 3, which would later be joined on the moon by Apollo 12, with Pete Conrad breaking off a piece to bring back to Earth. It can now be visited at the Air & Space Museum in Washington, DC.
