Albert Einstein pays tribute to Isaac Newton, writing: “His brilliant mind, like no one before or since, has pointed the way for Western thought, research, and technology. But Newton was not only a brilliant inventor of methods: he also displayed a singular mastery of the empirical knowledge of his time, and a marvelous ingenuity in mathematical and physical demonstrations. For all these reasons, he deserves our deepest veneration.”
