Cadiz. A major mutiny erupts among the 14,000 men who are to embark to support the royalist forces against Bolivar in Venezuela. The tide is turning in Bolivar’s favor, and he seeks help from the great powers, and, unexpectedly, finds it in Great Britain. Approximately 7,000 volunteers join Bolivar’s ranks, including many veterans of the Napoleonic Wars.
