Asia produces 80% of the world’s gross domestic product. India and China alone produce about 65% of the total. Europe is still negligible on the global scale. In a few decades, everything will change. By 1950, the United States and Western Europe will account for over 50% of the world’s gross domestic product, and China will be reduced to less than 5%.
