Documented transit of the comet that would be named Halley’s Comet centuries later. The first to observe it were Chinese astrologers, but the most detailed measurements were those of Paolo Toscanelli. According to Diebold Schilling’s “Croca di Lucerne,” Naples is destroyed while Rome rains blood and there are atrocities in the streets (in short, a perfectly normal day in the capital) (cit.
