Modena. Henry VII of Luxembourg is welcomed triumphantly by the most prestigious families of Modena: Boschetti, Pio, and Pico. Modena is under the protection of the Empire. The imperial vicar is Giodalosto de’ Vercellesi. At the end of 1311, the vicarship is then offered to the pro-imperial Francesco Pico, who is also given the fiefdom of Mirandola.
