Eemian Interglacial Period. This is the first of only two interglacial periods with temperatures just right and stable enough to allow for the development of agriculture. Humanity missed this opportunity due to its limited range and extremely small population. The second period (Holocene and then Anthropocene) is from 10,000 BC to the present, that is, after the last glaciation.
