Marco Polo continues his father’s journey to China. At the age of twenty, he is welcomed into the court of the Mongol emperor, making a favorable impression. He will spend the next twenty years in his service, traveling throughout China. He will then return to Venice, where he will become a legendary figure, through the fictionalized account of a writer he will meet in his cell in Genoa: Rustichello da Pisa.
