The discovery of gravitational waves emitted by a fourth black hole collision is announced. This time, the Virgo Observatory in Pisa also witnessed it. Through triangulation with two American observatories in Louisiana and Washington state, the location was also identified. The resulting new body has 53 solar masses, and three solar masses are channeling energy into distorting space-time and generating gravitational waves.
