France. A terrorist attack by a Moroccan, Ayoub el Qhazzani, 26, armed with a Kalashnikov, on a high-speed train traveling between Belgium and France. The intervention of two plainclothes American soldiers and a British man prevented the worst: the man was immobilized, but not before seriously injuring several people, including one of the Americans, in the neck.
