Krapina, Croatia. Archaeologists Davorka Radovčić, Ankica Oros Sršen, Jakov Radovčić, and David W. Frayer find evidence of Neanderthals wearing bracelets and necklaces 130,000 years ago. This is well before modern Homo sapiens did so, and tens of thousands of years before modern Homo sapiens reached the European continent.
