Antarctica. The American BICEP2 experiment appears to experimentally confirm both inflation in the early moments of the Universe after the Big Bang and gravitational waves of relativistic origin. The experiment is a collaboration of the Harvard-Smithsonian CfA (Centre for Astrophysics), Caltech, Stanford, and the University of Minnesota.
