U.S. forces launched a missile attack on a jihadist training camp in the Abyan region of Yemen. The raid reportedly killed 34 terrorists, including Saleh Ali Kazemi, considered a leader of the extremist group and involved in an attack that killed seven Spanish tourists in 2007. The Americans reportedly acted in close coordination with Yemeni units. While local forces surrounded the camp area, the U.S. provided “fire and intelligence support.”
