Paul Allen is persuaded by Bill Gates to move to Boston, where Bill is a sophomore at Harvard. He takes a job at Honeywell, which had initially been offered to Bill. Paul takes his Chrysler and drives from Washington State to Boston. He has dinner with Bill, and they fantasize about starting their own company with perhaps 35 software engineers. But Bill puts the brakes on: his parents want him to finish Harvard.
