Gemini-Titan 3: Gus Grissom and John Young perform orbital maneuvers aboard the Molly Brown. The legendary Gus, who would lose his life on Apollo 1, and the great John Young, who would also fly on Gemini 10, Apollo 10 again, would walk (and pilot) on the Moon on Apollo 16, fly the first Shuttle, and then STS-9. During the Gemini-Titan 3 flight, John Young even found time to eat a tasty sandwich that Wally Schirra, of the backup crew, had hidden in his spacesuit. NASA reacted hysterically, over the dangers of short circuits caused by crumbs, blah, blah, blah.
