The AEC, by a vote of 4 to 1, votes to suspend Robert Oppenheimer’s access to classified material, with Henry DeWolf Smyth voting 1:1 against. The AEC Commission is composed of three Democrats (Henry DeWolf Smyth, Thomas Murray, and Eugene Zuckert) and only two Republicans (Lewis Strauss and Joseph Campbell).
