The presumed date of Ettore Majorana’s death, as per a letter from Jesuit Ettore Caselli: he writes that the magazine Missioni has agreed to establish a scholarship for the late and dearly departed Ettore Majorana. He speaks of it as if it were a homily for a thirtieth day, a ceremony usually celebrated on the thirtieth day after someone’s death. Majorana’s death can therefore perhaps be dated to the end of August 1939.
