The 1938 FIFA World Cup, or Jules Rimet World Cup, was the third FIFA World Cup for senior men’s national teams, organized by FIFA every four years. It was held from June 4 to 19, 1938, in France and was won by Italy, defeating Hungary (in the final), Brazil (in the semifinals), France (in the quarterfinals), and Norway.
