Jerusalem, Palestine. A mob of Arab Muslims attacks the Jewish neighborhoods outside the walls of Jerusalem’s Old City, north of the Damascus Gate. During the events that would later be remembered as the 1929 riots, 133 Jews and 116 Arabs are killed and numerous buildings are burned.
