Irish scientist Edmund Fournier d’Albe publishes a fascinating little book entitled “Two New Worlds” in which he suggests that it is natural to think of the universe, from atoms to the Solar System to galaxies and beyond, as having an unlimited, fractal-like hierarchical structure.
