Edison remarried for the second time, to 20-year-old Mina Miller, daughter of inventor Lewis Miller. They moved to Llewellyn Park, an exclusive, gated hillside enclave in West Orange, New Jersey, not far from New York City. They had three more children: Madeleine, Charles, and Theodore. Mina died on August 24, 1947, following her husband.
